Job Purpose

This role is central to the KAUST Academy's mission to serve the wider KAUST community. The KEY Lead will be responsible for the planning, successful execution, and ongoing management of a comprehensive suite of enrichment programs tailored for young community members. These programs are designed to run throughout the academic year and during the summer, offering a diverse range of developmental and engaging activities. The KEY Lead will foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify and deliver high-quality program offerings, while also ensuring prudent financial management of the initiatives.

Major Responsibilities

 

  • Develop, manage, and continuously improve a portfolio of enrichment programs for young members of the KAUST community, ensuring alignment with KAUST Academy's objectives.
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of program execution, including scheduling, logistics, resource allocation, and risk management, for programs offered throughout the academic year and summer periods.
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments within KAUST Academy and other relevant internal/external parties to identify potential enrichment program offerings and partnerships.
  • Manage program budgets, including forecasting, tracking expenditures, processing payments, and ensuring programs are delivered within financial guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain program documentation, including proposals, operational plans, promotional materials, and participant records.
  • Establish and manage communication channels with participants, parents, instructors, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, gathering feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and future program development.

 

Provide regular reports on program status, participation, financial performance, and outcomes to the KAUST Academy Manager.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and programs from conception to completion.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget development and management.
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Creative and innovative thinker with a passion for youth development and enrichment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Program Management, Youth Development, Recreation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proficiency in office software and program management tools.

Experience

 

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in program management, preferably focused on youth enrichment, education, or community programs.
  • Experience in budget management and financial oversight for programs.

Experience working in a multicultural environment is highly desirable.
