Position Summary

The Tenant Account Specialist manages the full tenancy lifecycle for KRTP tenants—from initial attraction

and relationship development to drafting agreements, onboarding, and ongoing account management.

This role serves as the primary point of contact for all tenants within the assigned portfolio and oversees

selected shared tenancy services, including professional workshops and seminars that enhance the tenant

experience.

 

Major Responsibilities

Attraction:

• Utilize varied engagement channels to attract potential tenants to KRTP.

• Collaborate closely with the Engagement & Partnerships team to identify and pursue

prospective tenants.

• Lead early-stage discussions with potential tenants to understand their needs, including

engagement level with KAUST, space requirements (built-up areas, land, testing facilities, etc.),

staffing needs, and recommended tenancy type.

• Participate in tenant attraction strategies, events, and related activities as required.

Tenancy Agreements and Onboarding:

• Draft tenancy agreements and ensure all agreements and amendments within the portfolio are

accurate, up to date, and aligned with departmental workflows.

• Coordinate with relevant KAUST departments (Security, IT, Finance, Housing, etc.) to support

the onboarding process.

• Prepare and update all financial forms required for tenants and work with Finance to initiate

and follow up on invoicing.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all tenant companies within the assigned portfolio.

• Monitor tenant payments to ensure timely completion; follow up on overdue payments and

escalate when necessary.

• Ensure timely renewal of tenancy agreements or, alternatively, coordinate tenant termination

and exit processes in alignment with relevant departments.

• Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date documentation and data within departmental

databases and CRM systems.

Service & Support:

• Plan, design, and deliver professional workshops and seminars that enrich the tenant experience

in KRTP.

• Develop and streamline onboarding criteria, SOPs, and processes, ensuring alignment with the

department’s digital platforms.

• Ensure all tenant documents, agreements, registration forms, company profiles, and contacts

are added and regularly updated in shared platforms.

Success/ Innovation Management:

• Support tenant success initiatives to ensure tenants maximize KRTP offerings, leverage campus

facilities, and progress their innovation objectives.

• Contribute to broader activities and functions supporting the innovation ecosystem team as

required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Innovation Management, or

related disciplines).

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a customer-facing or customer-care role, preferably within

a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, manage sensitive information, and provide

high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.

 

Experience

• Experience in corporate innovation environments, science parks, research parks, or technology

hubs is highly desirable.

• Proven expertise in account management, including drafting agreements, overseeing

onboarding, managing payments, and maintaining accurate documentation.

• Strong presentation, facilitation, and public-speaking skills, with experience delivering

workshops, seminars, or engagement events.

• Extensive communication and interpersonal experience, enabling effective engagement with

tenants, partners, contractors, and KAUST internal stakeholders.

• Familiarity with CRM systems, digital workflows, and shared platforms for managing tenant

information and processes is an advantage.
